The Military Family Research Institute at Purdue is hosting the third annual Stand Down for veterans along with many community organizations.  Come on out to the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds on 9 November from 9:00 – 2:00 and get free flu shots, haircuts, food, entertainment and meet with other veterans and their families.  There will be many services provided and you can take advantage of none or all of them to include:

HIV/Hep C screening

Flu Shots

VA benefits

American Legion

Navy Club

Hair cuts

Legal services

Dental

Veteran Service Officer assistance

Employment Services

Free clothing, hygiene kits, bus tokens, etc

Groceries to take home

Breakfast and lunch served

Everything at this event is free for service members, veterans, and their families and there are over 50 services, all under 1 roof, for YOU and your family.

Come on out for a haircut, to meet with other veterans, or even to volunteer to help!  No matter what the reason is you come out, we hope to see you there!
