NCAA Tournament

[23-10, 14-4] 13 Akron 55 AT [22-8, 11-5] 4 Purdue 84  (03/22)

- Purdue led from start to finish, leading by double digits most of the game

- A 20-2 start to the game was more than enough, Akron never got it under double digits

- Whitney Bays led all scorers with 20 points and 13 rebounds

- April Wilson added 12 points and 9 assists, Courtney Moses had 12 points and Dee Dee Williams had 11

- The Boilers did struggle with turnovers, with only 1 in the first 10 minutes of the game they finished with 6 at the half and 18 total

- Coach Versyp's squad shot 40% (8-20) from 3, 53.7% (36-67) from the field and 4-6 from the line

- Purdue is 12-0 at home in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, and 20-1 overall

- Coach Sharon Versyp gets victory 300 for her career

- The Black and Gold will play Oklahoma State who escaped against Florida Gulf Coast
